The Tatmadaw[ military] True News Information Team reported that a Kawtkayeik- Myawaddy passenger bus was robbed on Asia road in the morning of January 11th and 18 phones and about 0.5 million kyats were also taken away.
A passenger bus carrying 17 passengers including a driver and a conductor arrived at a place which a distance of 5,550 kilometers from north-east of Tantankuee village situated on Asia road.
Meanwhile, the KKO (Splinter Group) and PDFs ordered to stop the vehicle and then they robbed 18 phones and about 0.5 million kyats from the passengers, according to the Tatmadaw True News Information Team.
Later, the KKO and PDFs exploded a homemade bomb a distance about 30-meter east from the passenger bus on Asia Union road aiming to stop all vehicles driving.
Due to the bomb blast, left windscreen of the passenger bus was damaged and a deep appeared on the road, says the Tatmadaw True News Information Team.
