Two men selling betel quid in Amarapura Township, Mandalay City, were shot and killed at about 11am on December 20, local sources say.

Two unidentified arrived on a motorbike at the betel quid shop located at the junction of Kuntheedan Street and Thinpankon Street in Hmandan Ward, Amarapura Township, shot the sellers about five times.  

Both the men, aged 40 and 22, then died of bullet wounds.
