An explosion occurred within the compound of the township immigration department on Inwa Road in East Dagon Township, Yangon Region, at about 10.30 am on December 13 wounding one man and one woman, according to initial local sources.  

NOM news agency reported that someone on a motorcycle threw into the office compound and drove away. The bomb went off near the recreation room for guests.

Of the two wounded people receiving medical treatment, a 43-year-old man is in serious condition.
