Myanmar migrant worker dies after being hit by a car in South Korea

A Myanmar citizen working in South Korea died after he had been knocked down by a car, Korean newspapers reported. 

At about 10.55pm on December 4, a 34-year-old construction worker of Myanmar wad knocked down by a car in a street of Seoul city and sustained severe head injuries. He was sent to a nearby hospital but died. 

The victim was Naing Min Tun living in Hlegu Township, Yangon Region, according to the Myanmar community in Korea.

South Korea is one of the countries that attract Myanmar migrant workers, most of them working on agriculture and livestock breeding.
