A Myanmar worker working at a mattress factory in Malaysia broke his arm after falling from a height at work, but his employer refused to send him to the hospital, according to the Malaysia-based Great Heart Charity Association.

The person who broke his hand at work is Ko Thura aka Soe Win Naing, who came to work in Malaysia from Kyaukpyu, Rakhine State.

The Malaysian employer only sent him to the clinic and did not take him to the hospital. According to the association, the employer threatened the worker that he will be arrested if he went to the hospital due to lack of evidence.

His friends asked the association for help, so they took him to Sungai Buloh Hospital this evening.

“There are a lot of such evil rich people in Malaysia. Because the rich man is afraid of sending him to the hospital, he wants to turn his face away. The workers get in trouble as they have no evidence to work in Malaysia. Until now, he has to wait to see a doctor at the hospital. There are a lot of patients at the hospital so it is looked like we will spend the night at the hospital. No matter what, our team will try to make it worth for our citizens," the association said in a press release.
