The United Wa State Army (UWSA), the National Democratic Alliance Army (NDAA) of Mongla Special Region 4, the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), the Shan State Progress Party/Shan State Army (SSPP/SSA, the Arakan Army (AA) and the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) held a meeting in the Wa region on September 16, The Kokang news agency reported.

Apart from the Kachin Independence Army (KIA), all six other members of the Federal Political Negotiation and Consultative Committee (FPNCC) formed under the Northern Alliance reportedly met together.
