The Union Ministers and Deputy Ministers, who are in Russia together with the Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, held discussions according to their respective sectors, sources said.

Union Ministers U Win Shein and Dr. Kan Zaw attended Russia - ASEAN Business Dialogue and participated in the discussion led by the CEO of Russia's Development Cooperation Group and Mr. Ivan Polyakov, the Chairman of the Russia-ASEAN Business Council in the Business Dialogue.

Then Union Ministers U Win Shein, Dr. Kan Zaw, U Hla Moe, Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Daw Than Than Swe, and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Thut, CEO of Russia's Development Cooperation Group and Chairman of the Russia-ASEAN Economic Council, Mr. Ivan Polyakov and the group had a separate meeting and discussed extensively the issues of economic cooperation between Russia and Myanmar.

Similarly, the Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win participated in the Medical Panel Session of the Eastern Economic Forum-2022 and discussed the difficulties encountered in the health system, efforts to overcome these difficulties, the opportunities that can be obtained through cooperation among countries, diagnostics using advanced technologies, cancer treatment, regarding the control of infectious diseases and plans to share these technologies with developing countries. Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw participated in the Strategic Technical Alliance of the Eastern Economic Forum-2022 and discussed.

In addition, the Deputy Minister for Information, Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, was also able to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Russian Federation's state-owned Sputnik news agency and Myawady Television, and discussed the conditions for cooperation regarding the development of the media sector.
