SAC Chair discusses cooperation peaceful utilization of nuclear energy with Russian President

Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is attending the 7th Eastern Economic Forum-2022, discussed about cooperation peaceful utilization of nuclear energy for socioeconomic development with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the FEFU Campus in Vladivostok yesterday afternoon local standard time, according to the SAC report.

On the occasion were SAC’s joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Min Oo, Union Minister for Planning and Finance Win Shein, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Kyaw Myo Htut and Myanmar Ambassador to Russia Lwin Oo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Nikolay A Listopadov and officials of the Russian government.

At the talk, the President of the Russian Federation and the SAC Chairman Prime Minister frankly exchanged views on cooperation in all sectors including cooperation between the Russian Federation and Myanmar in diplomatic relations, political, economic, social, education, health, monetary and banking sectors, cooperation in science and technology, aerospace and satellite technological cooperation, development of tourism sectors in both countries, the invitation to investments from Russia to Myanmar, peaceful utilization of nuclear energy for the development of socioeconomic measures.
