Two men were shot and killed as they were at a shop for buying things in Maha Aungmyay Township, Mandalay City, at about 6pm on May 28, according to local sources.

U Yan Naing Kyaw and U Aung Kyaw Moe were at KK Trading Centre at the corner of 38th Street and 91st Street in Seinpan Ward when they were shot by four masked men.

The four unidentified men ran away after shooting about six times. Both U Yan Naing Kyaw and U Aung Kyaw Moe died at the scene of multiple gunshot wounds.  

U Yan Naing Kyaw, aged 48, was an administrative official from Sartaiktan Ward. U Aung Kyaw Moe, 43, was from Puttan Ward.
