There were two explosions near Yadanar Park in Bahan Township, Yangon Region, on March 27, nearby residents said.  

According to the people living nearby, two explosions occurred around noon near Yadanar Park at the corner of U Chit Maung Road and West Racecourse Road.

One resident said that the explosions occurred near Yadanar Park. First there was one explosion, and soon after that a second explosion was heard.  The noise was very loud. Nothing was known as to whether anyone was hurt.

After the explosions the road from Lansin bus stop to the road leading to Yankin market was blocked and investigations were going on.
