SAGAING------Mytel’s telecommunication masts in Taze and Ayadaw Townships in Sagaing Region were destroyed yesterday night, according to the locals.

At night of September 8th, at least 7 Mytel telcom towers were torched in Ayadaw Township. Likewise, Mytel telecom towers being set up near Htaungtwine and Kanthit villages in Taze Township were set on fire.

Many Mytel telecom towers in Pale and Butalin Townships in Sagaing Region were also blown up at night of September 7th.

Relevant Tumi Armed group wrote on their Facebook that they carried out explosions and arson attacks on Mytel telecom towers in Sagaing Region.
