People started to bang pots to make noise in protest against the pro-military rally.

In the railway station alone, around 10 people were injured as they started attacking people with sticks, knives and slingshots.

Due to the attacks, local residents banded together to restrain the attackers and capture them.

The police arrived on scene later to arrest them and take them away.

While the police were taking them away, the pro-military people also hurled insults at the news media on scene and tried to attack them.

At the pro-military rally in Sule, anti-coup protestors in turn protested against it by banging pots and making an 'X' sign as well as vehicles honking at them.
