The 25th Aungbarlay lottery, a state lottery system of Myanmar, will be opened on March 15 instead of March 1, announced the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry on February 23.
At the present, lottery ticket retailers cannot sell their lottery tickets and people cannot try their luck due to current political situations occurring in all states and regions including Nay Pyi Taw and the date to open the 25th Aungbarlay lottery is changed from March 1 to 15, it said.
A total of 3,190,902 lots are sold to the lottery ticket sellers in the 25th Aungbarlay lottery and 60 per cent of the amounts of the money earned by the lottery tickets are returned to the winners as prizes.
Moreover the 26th Aungbarlay lottery will be opened on April 1 as per usual.
