Myanmar transferred 11 Chinese internet fraudsters to the Chinese authorities at No.1 Nandaw Gate in Muse on November 24, sources said.
The security forces detained the Chinese citizens at Muse on May 15 and they had taken action under immigration law. The Chinese were handed back to the Chinese authorities after the Public Health Department of Muse made a COVID-19 swab test on them.
Moreover, Police Captain Thant Zaw Oo, head of Muse police station handed the evidence and documents used in internet frauds to the hand of the Central Investigation Department of China.
Chinese citizens entered Myanmar illegally to commit cyber crimes in Myanmar and they persuaded their citizens to work in it. They have been told that they will be given attractive salaries. They have to pay K20 million to transport them to Myanmar from Ruili to Lashio illegally, according to the Chinese who are deported.
