Myanmar has now 1,180 new cases of COVID-19 and 34 more deaths according to the statement made by the Ministry of Health and Sports on October 19 at 8:00 pm. From October 18 at 8:00 pm to October 19 at 8:00pm, a total of 19,103 samples were tested and found new cases of 1,180.

Among the positive cases, 492 patients were discharged from the hospital and now total number of people discharged from the hospital reached 17,568. Among the 34 deaths, 30 had previous diseases prior to COVID-19. The total number of death is now 914.

Myanmar has so far seen 37,205 COVID-19 cases with 914 deaths.
