Owner, manager of Music Zone KTV turn themselves in to police

Thingangyun township MP, Shwe Hla Win, said on 4 Oct. that the owner and the manager of Music Zone KTV had surrendered themselves at the Thingangyun Police Station.    

He said, "Yes. They were in the hands of the police at about half past nine yesterday. They are the owner and the manager. The owner is Zaw Min, and the manager is Kyaw Kyaw."   

The owner and the manager of Music Zone KTV were sued by the Township Health Department under section 25 of the Natural Disaster Planning Law on 30 September.    

The owner of Music Zone KTV is Zaw Min, and the name of the manager is Zaw Moe, known as Kyaw Kyaw in the shop.    

Thingangyun township MP, Shwe Hla Win said on 12 Sept. that the township covid committee had decided to sue the owner of Music Zone KTV under the Natural Disaster Planning Act.     

The MP further said that the General Administration Department had filed the case at the township law court under two or three sections of the Natural Disaster Planning Law, and upon the advice of the township law court as to under which section to be sued, the case will be filed.     

More than 90 were found to have been COVID-19 positive in connection with Music Zone KTV in Thingangyun township    

According to reports on 3rd Oct. evening, there have been 16503 COVID-19 confirmed patients in Myanmar with the number of deaths being 370.
