The number of Covid-19 cases in Myanmar has reached 2,265 after 115 more people were infected with the virus, the Ministry of Health and Sports reported at 8 am today.
In the second batch for September 10, 1,370 samples were tested – 1,005 by the National Health Laboratory (Yangon), 119 by the Public health Laboratory (Taunggyi), 81 by Sittway People’s Hospital, 58 by Kyaukphyu People’s Hospital, 23 by Nay Pyi Taw People’s Hospital (1000-bed), 5 by Dawei People’s Hospital, 3 by Myaungmya People’s Hospital, 11 Pathein People’s Hospital, 9 by Magway People’s Hospital, 3 by Loikaw People’s Hospital, 9 by Myawady People’s Hospital, 16 by Tachilek People’s Hospital, 2 by PyinOoLwin People’s Hospital and 18 by Bhamo People’s Hospital. Among them, 115 new cases were reported bringing the total number to 2,265.
In the first batch for September 9, 142 cases were reported so the whole day saw 257 cases.
Myanmar has so far seen 2,265 Covid-19 cases and 14 deaths.
