A woman from Sittwe with no travel history tested COVID-19 positive

YANGON------A  26 years old woman from Sittwe with no travel history and no contact with the COVID-19 confirmed cases tested positive according to Ministry of Health and Sports on August 16 evening. Therefore, there are a total of 375 COVID-19 cases in Myanmar while 329 people recovered from the virus. Among them, 321 people were discharged from the hospital.

National Health laboratory (NHL) tested 374 samples, Department of Medical Research (DMR) tested 115 samples and Public Health Laboratory, Mandalay (PHL) tested 145 samples totaling 634 samples and among them she was tested positive.
