Yangon—The matriculation exam result for 2019-2020 Academic Year will be issued in August, said Dr. Myo Thein Gyi, Union Minister for Education at a press conference on 12 June.

The Education Minister held a press conference on its undertakings during the fourth year in office.

The ministry was unable to check the answer papers in April due to the spread of COVID-19 and has to postpone it to June 5 to 19.

“After 19 June, the ministry will has to prepare for the release of exam result,” he added.

Currently, more than 30,000 teachers are checking the answer papers in ten universities.

The ministry releases the matriculation exam results at the relevant exam centers in townships every year.

The matriculation exam result is available on www.myanmarexam.org.
