Yangon—Six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported on 20 May, taking the total number of cases to 199, according to the Ministry of Health and Sports. 

Yesterday, a total of 722 samples—159 by Department of Medical Research and 563 by National Health Laboratory (Yangon), were tested. 

Six new confirmed patients have a travel history to UAE. All patients are from Yangon and are being treated at Waibargi Specialist Hospital. 

So far, there have been six deaths. 98 out of 108 recovered patients have been discharged from the hospitals, according to the ministry.

There are 66 persons under investigation till noon of 20 May.
