A total of 419 people that were in close contact with a military COVID-19 patient stationed in Nay Pyi Taw Command, are tested negative from the virus, sources said.
A total of 363 people who have close contact with him are placed under quarantine and they found negative after their swab samples are being tested using Cobas 800 system at Nay Pyi Taw military hospital, announced the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services on May 4 and 5.
The remaining 56 people under quarantine were found negative on May 6, said Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun, Secretary of Tatmadaw True News Information Team.
The patient is receiving medical treatment at Nay Pyi Taw military hospital and his condition is stable.
Moreover all people, who have swab tests and tested negative, are placed under quarantine, said the Brig-Gen.
