Department of Education released a statement on February 4 in which it amended the date of final examination for basic education students of 2019-2020. The new date for the final examinations will be in early week of March.

In the previous direction, it is stated that exams for KG, Grade 1, 2,3,6,7,8 and 10 will be from March 23 to March 25. Students will have to sit two subjects per day. In the statement released on February 4, it is mentioned that, instead of the previous directions, exam date will be from March 4 to March 10. After the exams, students will have summer holiday.
