A family from Myeik won K1.5 B lottery jackpot in New Year

A family that makes a living off selling clothes in Myeik won the K1.5 billion lottery jackpot in 2020, sources said.

They bought the lottery tickets from Yadanar Thein Htike Aung lottery shop in Myeik.

They have plans to make donations especially for children who are deserted, they said.

“I tested my luck monthly by buying lottery tickets. I will make donations to people who are mad and poor people. I am now 44 years old,” said U Japan, who won the lottery.

They have two sons and they will make donations with winnings from the lottery jackpot.
