Previously, it was announced that the Yangon water bus would resume operation on October 1, but now it has been changed to October 6 to commemorate the fifth anniversary of Yangon water bus.

The opening ceremony of the five-year anniversary will be held at Lanthit jetty at 7:00 am on October 6 and it will run free of charges in that day. In addition, users of KBZPay, CB Pay, AYA Pay, A+ Pay, and UAB Pay will receive a one-time sunset ticket as a gift by showing the application on their phone, Yangon water bus reported.

After Yangon water bus announced on July 19 that the Yangon water bus, which has been suspended for more than two years, will resume its operation on October 1, the operation date is changed. It will dock at Botahtaung, Pansodan, Lanthit, Sarparchaung and Antgyi jetties and KBZPay, CB PAY and WAVE PAY will be used for ferry fares.
