The administrator of Kyunlone U Shaung Ward in Mandalay city was killed in a shooting from a moving car at about 9am on October 10.

U Aung San, aged about 56, living at plot No.839 in northern Chan Ward in Chanmyathazi Township was shot three times from a moving car at the top of his street as he walked out of his home.

He then died of bullet wounds and investigation is going on to expose and arrest the shooters, according to local sources.

He was serving as head of Kyunlone U Shaung Ward Administrative Body.
