Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Mr Mubarak M A Aladwani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Nay Pyi Taw on September 7.

During the call, they cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to the further enhancement of the existing friendly bilateral relations, mutually beneficial cooperation in the areas including trade and investment, energy and labour, implementation of the existing bilateral agreements and resumption of ongoing negotiations for future cooperation agreements, and enhancement of collaboration both in the regional and international arenas, particularly under the framework of Asean-the Gulf Cooperation Council and the United nations.
