A village administrator and another administrative official were shot dead in Paukgon Village, Twantay Township, Yangon Region, according to sources from Myanmar Police Force.  

Receiving information that two men died after being shot in front of a house in Paukgon Village at 2am on March 4, security forces went to the scene and found them dead.

U Soe Lwin, the 56-year-old administrator of West Taungyo Village, and his administrative member, U Than Lwin, aged 70, were sitting on chairs when they shot by two men (whose identities are still under scrutiny) passing by. Then, both died at the scene.  

The security forces are in hot pursuit of the killers.
