Three bodies recover after their boat overturned in Kyunsu Township

The bodies of three men, who drowned after their boat overturned near the Domooyinkan Village, Kyungsu Township, Tanintharyi Region, have been found on December 8, sources said.

"It is known that their boat overturned and they died. Our Kayunar Association and Ahkyinnar Twelatt Association went to the sea to retrieve their bodies. The village administrator and officials also came with us. They took the bodies to Myeik and sent them to the hospital," said an official from the Kayunar Association.

It is reported that the boat capsized near the Dom archipelago, which is more than 40 nautical miles away from Myeik, and the bodies were recovered near the Domooyinkan Village.

The bodies of those who died were brought to Myeik and sent to the No.5 100-bed military hospital by the associations. Regarding the incident, the officials are continuing to act according to the law.
