The MNDAA, TNLA and AA are using drones to drop bombs attached with Chinese label in battles in Shan State (Northern) to create a misunderstanding between the two governments, said Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun, spokesman for the State Administration Council (SAC).
Regarding the attack by armed groups on some areas in the townships in northern Shan State, the conflict between the Kokang tribal leaders and the current situation in the Kokang region was explained by the spokesman of the SAC with historical information.
"When bombs were dropped using drones, we seized some drop bombs. We suspect that the texts written on those drop bombs have letters, and the labels are in Chinese words. What is still written there, when we looked at the translation with a Chinese expert, it was written as a specially manufactured product of China. Normally, they make it look like China is behind it. Normally, they are creating misunderstanding between the Chinese people and the Myanmar people, and between the Chinese government and the Myanmar government. These things are planned and carried out in advance," he said.
Attacks by the MNDAA, TNLA and AA include shooting at communities, exploding power lines and bridges in some places in townships in northern Shan State, he said.
Maj. Gen. Zaw Min Tun said, "What I want to ask in this battle is what they did. The main thing the MNDAA, TNLA and AA did was shooting at communities, blowing up power lines and bridges. They are damaging people's transportation. Then they only did things that make misunderstandings between China and Myanmar even bigger. We have to take care of these things."
He said that Shan State, which borders China, is an ethnically diverse state in Myanmar, and China's Yunnan Province, which borders Myanmar, has the most ethnically diverse province in China.
"Right now, big countries that want to interfere with countries, they only cause two dissensions. Number one is based on religion, and number two is based on ethnicity. It is sensitive. Therefore, I see that our two countries will be very careful about this matter. After that, I see that we need to carry out practical and effective cooperation," he said.
Currently, Member of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and Minister for Public Security Mr Wang Xiaohong and party arrived in Nay Pyi Taw on October 30 and attended the 7th Ministerial Meeting on Law Enforcement and Security Cooperation between the Ministry of Information and China's Ministry of Public Security.
