The aims of encouraging progress of agriculture and livestock farms are to promote national economy, to substitute imports and to increase export, he added.
At present, national economy has developed and if we strive more, there will be more development. For the development of national economy, we have to encourage the businesses of the local people. Then only, there will be smooth flow of currencies and economy will develop. He added that local people are responsible for the development of the Dawei Region. They have to utilize raw materials from the region to achieve success in manufacturing. The government will provide necessary assistances and they have to work for increase in production, he continued.
