The composer, Naing Myanmar, has passed away, his family said.

He died at his home in Thanlyin Township, Yangon Region, at around 7:30 am on February 7, a family member said.

“He passed away at around 7:30 am this morning. It happened suddenly after suffering a heart attack,” a family member said.

The songwriter, Naing Myanmar, was 68 years old at the time of his death.

He was the author of many famous songs, including Kabar Makyay Bu, Waso, and Done Yin Nya.

He also composed many songs for famous singers, including Soe Lwin Lwin and Hlwan Moe.
