State Administration Council issued a statement on March 4 to cease citizenship to 11 people including Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Dr. Sar Sar and Min Ko Naing.

Those include in the termination of citizenship list are Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Dr. Sar Sar, U Min Ko naing aka Paw Oo Tun, U Ye Mon aka Tin Thit, U Lwin Ko Latt, Daw Zin Mar Aung, U Htin Linn Aung, U Aung Myo Min, Daw Ei Thinzar Maung, U Myo Yan Naung Thein, Daw Ei Pancello aka Eaint Poe O.

The statement said that those 11 people broke the existing law and left Myanmar illegally to other countries. According to the 1982 Myanmar Citizenship Law, Section 16, they are ceased to be Myanmar citizens..

Investigation will be carried out and action will be taken to those who commit the crimes like people mentioned above, it said.
