SAC Chair and Chinese special envoy discuss peace and issues of cooperation between the two countries

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC), and Mr. Deng Xijun, Special Representative for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, met in the lobby of the SAC Chairman's office on July 28.

In that meeting, both sides discussed about the conditions of the improving bilateral friendship and cooperation between Myanmar and China, the conditions where the state is working to achieve internal peace with the help of China, the political conditions of Myanmar and the conditions being implemented for the stability and development of the country, the stability and peace of the border region and the situation in which the regional stability is being worked on, the circumstances of China's assistance during the damage caused by storm Mocha, the situation in Rakhine State regarding the re-acceptance of displaced persons and the conditions for cooperation between the two countries in reducing online gambling and online fraud.

The meeting was attended by the joint secretary of the council, Lt. Gen. Ye Win Oo, council member Lt. Gen. Yar Pyae, Union Minister of Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and officials, members of the Chinese special envoy and officials from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar.
