On April 27, authorities were alerted to the discovery of a decomposing body of a woman with multiple injuries inside an uninhabited one-story house near a field embankment in Yae Htwet Village, Patheingyi Township. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that the deceased was Daw Htwe Htwe, a retired professor residing in Mahaaungmyae Township.
