Among the top ten main exports from Myanmar, ready-made garments, natural gas, green gram, rice and broken rice and maize exports are included in the eight and a half months of the 2023-2024 FY, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

According to the list of ten major exports, from April 1 to December 15 in 2023-2024 FY, Myanmar earned US$3,101.835 million from the exports of sewn garments, US$2,362.063 million from natural gas exports, US$501.300 million from the exports of green grams, US$429.332 million from the exports of rice and broken rice, US$275.046 million from the export of maize, US$242.124 million from fishery exports, US$192.939 million from the exports of green beans, US$132.147 million from the exports of raw rubber, US$102.03 million from the exports of pigeon peas, and US$82.506 million from the exports of metals and ores.

Myanmar exports agricultural products, animal products, fishery products, mineral products, forest products, manufactured goods (CMP) and other goods, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

Myanmar mainly imports investment goods, commercial raw materials, consumer goods and CMP raw materials.

Myanmar's annual foreign trade in the 2012-2013 FY was US$8,977.015 million in export and US$9,068.914 million in import, totaling US$18,045.929 million.

In 2015-2016 FY, the trade volume was US$11,136.878 million in export and US$16,577.948 million in import, totaling US$27,714.826 million.

In the 2016-2017 FY, the trade volume was US$11,998.545 million in export and US$17211.062 million in import, totaling US$29,209.607 million.

In 2017-2018 FY, the trade volume was US$14,883.160 million in export and US$18,694.892 million in import, totaling US$33,578.052 million.

In the 2018 mini budget, the trade volume was US$8,861.032 million in export and US$9,867.783 million in import, totaling US$18,728.815 million.

In 2018-2019 FY, the trade volume was US$17,060.415 million in export and US$18,086.597 million in import, totaling US$35,147.012 million.
