MANDALAY-----Some protestors yesterday morning called for release of detained leaders and they staged a protest against military coup in front of University of Medicine in Mandalay.

The protesters held the vinyl written as “Protect the Democracy”, “Don’t accept the violence”, “Respect public vote,” and “ People’s Protest Against Military Coup”.

The protesters also chanted the slogans “ Down with the government that rules after a military coup”, “Immediate release of the State leaders” and “Down with the military dictatorship”. 

Concerning the protests against military coup in Mandalay, the police force already launched the seizures of protesters in Mandalay.
