"Currently, YESC is supplying electricity to townships every four hours. It seemed that the townships which have been prioritized will be announced by the relevant township electricity offices. We have not been notified yet. Currently, we are providing electricity every four hours," replied the Call Center of the Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation (YESC).
According to the information published by the Ahlon Township Electricity Board on their social network page, 16 townships have been declared as priority level (A).
They are Yankin, Tamwe, Thingangyun, South Oakkalapa, Kyauktada, Pabedan, Latha, Lanmadaw, Dagon, Ahlon, Kyimyindaing, Sanchaung, Mayangone, Hlaing, Kamaryut and Bahan townships.
In addition, public groups A and B will be alternately provided with load-reduced electricity between 9 am and 4 pm. Full power will be provided from 4 pm until 9 am the next day. The industrial zone in South Okkalapa Township will only be supplied with electricity from 9 am to 5 pm, according to the statement of the Ahlon Township Electricity Board.
Since last Thingyan period, electricity has been distributed in a rotating system, and it has just been released without any prior announcement of the current system.

He said that the role of substations is important to prevent power outages in order to obtain full power at the times when power consumption can be supplied according to the time period, and it is necessary to carry out maintenance and repair works in advance.
