The Pride of Myanmar Products and Global Connection Business Forum is being held to showcase Myanmar products and global business connections at the Grand Ballroom of the Eravati Sule Grand Yangon Hotel in Yangon for three days from August 9 to 11, according to sources.
The forum will also feature exhibits related to Myanmar culture and is proudly organized by STP Event Management Team.
"When many embassies joined together, other foreign associations such as Singapore Association Myanmar also joined. Since these associations joined, they all joined together, so they were divided into local zone and global zone. There are many associations in global zone. In local zone, it has become like an international stage, so we show Myanmar's handicrafts in front of the international community. On the second day, there will be Thanaka campaigns. There will be many big ones. Thanaka is not just applied to the cheeks. We will have many small campaigns on how can entrepreneurs use it and how to do it. If you come to this big event, you will have a good networking opportunity with local entrepreneurs here," said Daw Thin Thin Aung, Managing Director of STP Event Management Team.
On the first day of the event, people with long-term experience in the business sector participated in discussions.
The discussion was attended by business leaders from international companies with over 15 years of experience in the business field, who discussed how they overcame business difficulties with passion and how they led with stability and consistency.
In addition, the Pride of Myanmar Products and Global Connection Business Forum also included the Myanmar Cultural Heritage Trust (MCHT), which is a leading organization working to ensure that Myanmar’s cultural heritage is recognized and preserved by the world.
The Myanmar Cultural Heritage Trust (MCHT) is participating in the VIP Booth Number 4 of the event, which will provide good international market connections.
Established in 2016 to sustainably preserve and promote Myanmar’s rich tangible and intangible cultural heritage, the MCHT led the process of registering the Myanmar New Year Thingyan Festival, one of Myanmar’s intangible cultural heritages, as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, and was approved in 2024. Furthermore, the Ministry and various civil society organizations have collaborated to register the Thanaka culture as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and have submitted it to UNESCO in 2025.
The event will feature the Thanaka Campaign, a traditional Myanmar beauty contest organized by the MCHT.
