MANDALAY----A police member died of his injuries after being beaten at a close range by an unidentified group at intersection of 113th A and 111th B streets in Pyigyitagon Township, Mandalay Region around 1pm of October 11th.

30-aged victim was a policeman from Pyigyitagon Police Station in Mandalay region and he was beaten after returning from a hospital where his daughter was receiving medical treatments.

The initial report said that about five persons beat him[police member] and then he was found by beaten to death and his motorbike and phone were taken away.
