Police cracks down on protestors at Mandalay's 37th and 38th street junction

The police cracked down on protestors at the 37th and 38th street junction in Mandalay, Maha Aung Myay Township on February 9, around 2.30pm.

The protests began around 10am, with protestors gathering on corners of 38th, 73rd, 74th, 75th,  and 78th streets.

The police demanded them to disperse once around 12 noon, another time around 2.30 pm including warning shots into the air, water canons and smoke bombs. 

As of now, the protestors have moved from said locations and have begun marching across the city.
