No.15 Police Battalion in Yay Twin Kone village, Kyaikmaraw Township, Mon State, was hit by a drop bomb attack around 10:00 pm on December 1 according to those close to security forces.
The drop bomb exploded at the west side of Dhammayone (religious hall) of the police battalion and there was no casualty, sources said.
People were in panic as the place where police are residing is close to houses and schools and they are in fear of their safety according to locals.
Explosion occurred when a drone dropped a bomb on the lamp-post in front of Mawlamyine golf course in Ngan Tay ward in Mawlamyine around 9:30 pm on December 1, according to those living near the gold course.
