People who received India-made Covidshield as their first dose need to received full dosage (two doses) of Sinopharm vaccine, if they are in the priority group, according to the Ministry of Health

As India couldn’t deliver Covidshield to Myanmar in time and so arrangements have been made to get vaccines from China and Russia. Even after receiving full doses of Covid-19, people need to wear masks, wash their hands and to abide by social distancing rule according to the Ministry.

It is said Myanmar has ordered 30 million doses of Covid-19 from India but only two million doses received so far.

People need to get full doses of Covid-19 jabs. The recurrence of Covid-19 after getting jabs is 0.02 percent to 0.05 percent according to the Ministry.

The world nowadays experienced many variants of Covid-19 virus and new strain Delta variant is more contagious. Those fully vaccinated have low possibility rate of admitting to hospitals, need of oxygen and mortality rate.

Some (who completed full doses of covid-19) may experience such as cough, illness, and loss of smell and taste which are normal symptoms according to the Ministry. It takes two weeks to get developing immune response after the covid-19 injection. For the two dose of vaccine, it takes two weeks after the second dose to be fully effective from the jabs and for the one time covid-19 jabs, it takes two weeks to be fully effective. But, infection may occur before or as soon as  the covid-19 jabs are received.
