A passenger bus overturned near Myatsha Village in Pathein Township on the morning of April 5 (today) killing a man and injuring three other people, according to Myanmar Fire Service Department.

 A yellow mini bus carrying 19 passengers, while returning from Chaungtha to Pathein, skidded and overturned between mile post Nos. 29/7 and 30/0 in Myatsha Village, Kangyi Village-tract, at about 8 am today.

One man was killed, and another man and to women sustained serious injuries, the department reported.

The dead and the injured were sent to Chaungtha Station Hospital and Pathein Township People’s Hospital with the help of Dhamma Pala social aid organization based in Chaungtha.

After the accident, fire brigade members from Chaungtha Township Fire Station conducted rescue work.
