A passenger bus carrying 20 people crashed near Yathe Village on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway early on January 9, leaving one man injured.

The Myanmar Fire Services Department sent a fire engine from the Pyinsi Expressway fire station to the scene, where they conducted search and rescue operations with other agencies.

The injured man was transported to Tada-U People’s Hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
