It has been the third time in seven months at Kyauktada Township that newborn baby boy was abandoned in the garbage bin near Waziyar cinema around 7:30 pm on July 7.

“We heard the news that a newborn baby boy was abandoned at the garbage bin and went there. The baby was attached to umbilical cord with no diaper and already dead,” said a man from the Linlet social organization.

It’s been three times this year that newborns were abandoned in Kyauktada Township, first one near Maha Bandoola park, second one at the corner of 33 Street and Anawratha street and this time in Waziyar cinema, he added. The body of the newborn baby was sent to Yangon General Hospital.
