Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended Defense and Security 2019 of ASEAN that is currently held in Bangkok in Thailand.

The Defense and Security 2019 of ASEAN was scheduled from November 18 to 21. The opening ceremony took place in Bangkok, Thailand on November 18. Snipers manufactured by Myanmar Tatmadaw and ammunitions were on display at the Defense and Security 2019 of ASEAN, according to the Facebook of Thayninga Institute for Strategic Studies.

Myanmar Tatmadaw delegation led by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing left Myanmar on November 17 morning to attend Defense and Security 2019 of ASEAN to be held in Bangkok, Thailand and ADMM-Plus (VIP Program) in People’s Republic  of China (PRC).

The Senior General was accompanied by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Mya Tun Oo and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), according to the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).

The Senior General and party visited Marsun Public Company Ltd, viewing progress of work in shipbuilding.  

Shipbuilding company Marsun Public Company Ltd. was established in 1980 to build and repair ships. It has manufactured and sold more than 310 ships including passenger vessels, landing crafts, yachts and patrol speed boats meeting set standards.

Then, they proceeded to I Group Ltd. At the meeting hall, teaching methods with the help of teaching aid, computer and information technology were century explained to enhance the capacity of new generation youths in the 21st century knowledge age.

I Group Ltd. is an organization forming with different nations and registration of the company was made in Hong Kong. It is reprinting and preserving ancient valuable historic paintings, ancient literatures, culture and fine arts using high-quality cameras and modern technology. It is also publishing and distributing research papers and books on technological education and donating them by E-library, according to the report of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army).
