Myanmar reports 942 new patients and three deaths on Mar 10

Myanmar found 942 new COVID-19 confirmed cases on March 10 bringing total number of patients to 603,263, according to an announcement from Ministry of Health (MOH).

A total of 19,724 samples are tested between 8 pm of March 9 and 8 pm of March 10 and found 942 patients. Three more people died from the virus bring total number of death tolls to 19,401, according to a report from the MOH.

A total of 7,335,396 samples are tested till March 10 and 1,275 people are allowed to be discharged from the hospital bringing total number to 553,891, it said.

The samples were tested in labs under the MOH, using GeneXpert machines in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw Council, all regions and states, at No.1 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Yangon, at No.2 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw, at No.9 100-Bed Military Hospital in Lashio, at private hospitals and labs and using COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test in hospitals and public health departments in Nay Pyi Taw Council, all regions and states.
