Myanmar found 3,459 new COVID-19 confirmed cases with 110 deaths on September 2 according to an announcement from Ministry of Health.
A total of 35,248 samples are tested between 8 pm of September 1 to 8 pm of September 2 and found 3,459 patients. 110 more people died from the virus bringing total number of death tolls to 15,600, according to a report from the ministry.
A total of 3,688,810 samples are tested till September 2 and there are confirmed cases of 406,099 according to the announcement. On September 2, 1,953 people are allowed to be discharged from the hospital bringing total number to 355,764, it said.
The samples were tested in labs under the ministry, using GeneXpert machines in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw, all regions and states, at No.1 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Yangon, at No.2 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw, at No.1 700-Bed Military Hospital in Pyin-Oo-Lwin, at No.9 100-Bed Military Hospital in Lashio, at private hospitals and labs and at hospitals and public health departments in Nay Pyi Taw, all regions and states using COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test, it said.
