Myanmar launches nationwide matriculation exam for 2021-22

YANGON------The Nationwide matriculation examination for 2021-22 academic year was held in the whole country on March 31st.

The matriculation exam starts from March 31st to April 9th.

Totaling 312,299 students from all government high schools and informal students are now sitting for this year’s exam at the 1,256 examination centers in 321 Townships from 71 districts in the states and regions, according to the Ministry of Education.

Students have to sit for eight types subject group, and the subject group of Myanmar, English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Economy.

After Myanmar had suffered from COVID-19 pandemic outbreak since the beginning of March 23rd in 2020, all schools from states and regions were closed for a year. That’s why the exams of 2020-21 academic years for Basic Education Primary School, Middle School and High School level weren’t launched.

Currently, Myanmar commences nationwide matriculation exam for 2021-22 academic year starting today.
