YANGON-----A military officer has filed a lawsuit against the owner of ‘Zarni Tike’ Facebook account under the Article 66 (d) of the Telecommunications Law on November 21st, a police officer at Shwe Pyitha Police Station confirmed to the Eleven Media Group.

The page had criticized the military brass based on unreliable news.

Zarni Htike Facebook account copied and posted a story from Yangon Khit Thit News Agency, regarding the ruling National League for Democracy (NLD) denied that  Zaw Lin Tun, former personal assistant secretary of the Military Chief and the candidates from Union Solidarity and Development Party-(USDP) in Mong Phyat Township, Shan State, winning in the general election 2020 due to unfair voting results.
